A long 29 hours journey that took me to Lahore & Sahiwal without 44 hours of sleep was a good experience. The only bad thing was that I was getting late at every point & now I hate BODYGUARD (Indian Movie) as in every bus I had to watch the same movie, the same scene & same over acting by the cast.
During the journey I learned that students in our country are not the bright future but they are nothing but trouble & miseries. They consider themselves as Don of the nation & they were actually stopping every bus just for themselves so they can travel free in it. Not even thinking that the passengers that are in the bus for the past 7 hours are tired, getting late but these selfish students do not care at all. Due to them I was even late 2-3 hours. Also I had a chance to see how to change a bus tyre & how they fix the tube in it. I wonder why the hell they do not use tubeless tires in these vehicles.
Reaching Lahore in 7 hours was an experience. It only take 4:30 or 5 hours max to reach Lahore from my city but when it comes to 7 hours, you sure know how it feels. Do you know that what ever the bus conductor tells you regarding the timing of reaching the destination is always a lie? Do you even know the time they tell you the journey will start is also a lie? Do you even know that until the bus is not full with passengers, the bus never moves? Do you know when they call it a air-conditioned bus, it means they will stop at number of points so you can step out for the air? See I had an educational trip :-)
I had to go to Sahiwal but the last bus left that had to go directly to that city so I had to take a bus to Lahore & then Sahiwal. I went to Comsats (Sahiwal Campus) to meet an FB friend. Had some great memorable time there & even made some new friends. I never knew I was that friendly but now I do think I have changed as there was a time I used to stay so reserved that people only had a comment for me after my departure that I am a proud person but not anymore. Now I do get myself involved with others too. I did get a chance to quick view the Okara city on the way back as well. So I had been to 3 cites in one day.
On the way back I had to meet an FB friend in Lahore & this was the first time I was there to meet someone on his/her birthday. The 2 hours short time was fun overall. KFC, a bit of shopping & fast bike ride was a moment to be remembered.
Back to my city 5 in the morning with sleepy eyes & falling in the bed was another wonderful experience. I needed that one but surprisingly I got up at 3. Now I was thinking to sleep the whole Saturday but no, I was out on the road in the rain with my friends. We had dinner in Bala Tikka House & I am sure the waiter will remember that night. If he will forget, we will go there again to remind him of the nightmare.
Back to the office & today is a happy overtime day. Feel so good when you work overtime & especially when a useless, corrupt politician dies & in return we get joy with a holiday. I pray that they all die day by day & everyday we get a chance to enjoy. My friend said that the mother of PPP died & I said the dog is now left behind. When will I get the good news now that the dog is gone too? Sorry to the loving and faithful creatures known as dogs, for me comparing them with a… damn, what should I call him?
