DAY 54

Pakistani government is planning to increase the petrol prices once again. After dropping them from 85Rs/liter, now planning to get it back to 63Rs./liter. In this way the government will earn 43% profit per liter. WOW! Good going. Last blog I mentioned 7 important works done by the government so far. This is going to be the 8th one. Really hard work once again. They will earn 43% profit per liter & the public will loose 100% on everything. Is there ever going to be a scheme or a price drop in anything where the public could earn this much as well? Why would the public need this? The public can go to hell. They voted for them. The political party made so many promises & they have broken almost all of them. I think this should be the 9th hard work. It’s really hard to break all promises & still be there in front of the public smiling at them shamelessly & with no fear at all. Sometimes I really think that I should stop watching the news as my blood starts boiling.

After almost a week’s torture by passing through the tunnel of fire on daily basis, the weather suddenly became a bit kind on me & it was cloudy all the day with less heat around. According to the forecast, the next whole week would be kind of cloudy plus some light showers. I wonder what light shower means. Does it means less shower or only light will show up? I wish only light fall but only on these decision takers of Pakistan. It would be a pleasant view to enjoy. Oh no I don’t hate them. I want to kill each of them but the only problem is that I hate violence.

DAY 53

Do you know who is the founder of Pakistan? I think any Pakistani could answer that easily but there are people in Pakistan that think they are the founders or in other word there is a political party that think that they are the owners of Pakistan. View the below picture which was taken in the President house few days back when Pakistani Cricket team was invited on a dinner by the President.

Please click the image to enlarge...

After viewing this I can easily say that we did make a mistake by choosing a prime minster & then in return we got a President that is not even eligible to be a citizen of any country.

I still remember those days when the lawyers were on strike & were planning for a long march towards the capital. During those times this gifted president said that I was never chosen by the country to bring back the ex-chief justice. I wonder why didn’t anyone remind him that he was never voted by the public. He is just a bad gift from the PPP. I still wonder that how come the other countries even sign a deal with this guy knowing that he can later say that it was not a Verse of the Holy Quran.

Till now the most obvious work done by the party is as follow:

1. Changed the name to Murree Road in Rawalpindi.
2. Changed the name to Islamabad International Airport.
3. Changed the name to Central Hospital in Rawalpindi.
4. Flags of PPP all over the flyover of Fiazabad (Rawapindi/Islamabad).
5. Lots & lots of visits outside Pakistan for begging with a shameless smile.
6. Still begging the world for more.

Oh & last but not the least:

7. Putting their pictures & removing the picture of the Founder of Pakistan.

Now this is what they call hard work. Seriously, it was really hard. I wish I could just throw all of them in a big garbage bin & close the lid forever by welding it & dump it into the ocean.

DAY 50

Had a very tired weekend. Not being sleeping properly as well as not being well so really planning to have long naps on weekend with most of my time on bed relaxing as I really need it now.

Got a really sad + shocking news regarding the death of Michael Jackson last night. Never been has fan but just I always liked his dancing steps and a few songs. Was really looking forward to his comeback as I was thinking he might bring something new but this new is really sad. It is always sad to see someone leaving the world especially people you know. May he rest in peace.

Got a really good SMS that I think I should share:

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling five balls in the air. You name them as work, family, health, friends & spirit. Now you are keeping all of them in the air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball as if you drop it, it will bounce back but the other four balls are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed.

DAY 48

Have you ever passed through a ring of fire while riding a bike? No? Well I have been doing it for the past 2-3 days. Infect I have been passing through a tunnel on fire. The weather nowadays is so hot that when the hot air touches your skin, it actually feels like you are sitting in an oven & this time you will be served for lunch. So, now you can call me a stuntman. Even after being so warm welcomed by the weather, nobody thinks I’m hot…

So think of it for once, no not that I’m hot but that you are riding a bike in the hottest weather & while your sink is burning, suddenly you get that rotten smell from near around. I am always with my friend while I’m travelling towards the office & for once I thought that he did not take a bath today but in few seconds I realized that I’m following a garbage truck that is not even allowing me to over take it. That minute if the driver would have been in front of me, I would have beaten hell out of him but the only problem is that I don’t like violence. Ah! That lucky bus____ driver.

On the way to the office, I saw a banner that had a quote “Drugs control your life”. Now I wonder weather they were asking or telling as I did not see any sign of “question mark”. I would not answer this as I have not tried asking drugs to control my life but what difference does it make as long as something is controlling life as nowadays life is really getting out of control. It was 2004 when I actually started living in Pakistan and now it’s almost 5 years & it still looks like it was yesterday. Ok not yesterday but perhaps weeks ago. So yes life is running away fast & out of control. I think time is not far when the Pakistan Government will start fines on over-speeding life as they are trying their best to charge every single penny from the public. If you don’t trust me, you can always read the budget. Well! I would never call it a budget. I would rather call it a policy to rob.

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

DAY 47

Still not feeling well at all & hoping to be fit & normal soon. I even try to be normal but some of us don’t even try & one of them is our good friend the WASA (Water and Sanitation Agency).

I made an online complain on 8th of this month as they have given an option to track it online as well. I kept tracking it for 4 days & find nothing updated on it. So I sent them an email which started something like this. NO! Infect it is this:

Complaint No. : 17471

I logged a complain on 08/06/2009 & still no updated? You call this a service? Do you actually believe that you are even providing any service? what kind of a service is this that you don't even care if there is any complain pending for the past four days. You don't even have time to update any status on a complain? What are you people upto? Where are you wasting your time? Why are you playing all this drama if you don't even work on a complain. Throw this site into garbage and keep sleeping...

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE THIS IS ???????????????????????????????

One of the most stupid service I came across in this country.

With no regards too you people or to your service,

So the next day I got the following reply:

AOA

We really apologize for the inconvenience which you have faced please
mail us your contact number so that your problem can be heard and
solved immediately.

Thank you

Regards

WASA / RDA

So I send them my contact number & again waited for 4 more days & as usual nothing from them so this is what I wrote them:

NOW WHAT HAPPENED ????????

You did not call. Why did you even bother to email and apologize when you don't want to do anything. For a minute I thought I got someone who will be able to help but now I can easily feel that you all are nothing but useless people.

It's now been 10 days and nothing has been done. Fantastic service. I would say bullshit service.

Just few minutes after that I received a call from them & the person said to me that they have been receiving discouraging emails from me & they always try their best. They did forward my complain to the concern department & yet I am abusing them. This is not fair as they are trying to work so hard. Guess what I asked him. I just asked him how hard were you trying for the past 14 days to resolve one single complain. He said we receive so many complains daily. I asked him how many people in Pakistan communicate with you via internet. Half of the nation is illiterate & he wanted me to encourage him for such a great service. Would you?????

Kindly note that do not copy any part of the email as it is under my copyright. I wonder why they call it copyright. Do they give rights to copy?? I don't know weather they give rights or not but I am not giving it...

Monday, June 22, 2009

DAY 46

Yes! Pakistan has won the title of T20 Champions at last but I felt a few things that I need to share. At the end of any international event usually there is a closing ceremony but this time there was none. There was always best bowler, best batsman, best fielder, most sixes & etc but this time none. I did not even see any single cheque handed over to any one so this time no cash prizes at all. So what happened this time????

Let me guess! This time it was the bloody Asians, right? These people are so cheap that they could never see Asians on the top. If it would have been Australia or even England themselves, you would have witnessed a huge ceremony.

The only gift they gave us was that they immediately called Shahid Afridi for dope test. How cheap of them. When Pakistan won with New Zealand, they blamed our bowlers for ball tempering. Fantastic. If you loose against us, blame something on us but when you win against us, nothing wrong with our team except we don’t play good. I was even observing the faces of those so called white gentlemen that were handing over the medals. Their faces were plan with not even a smile for us as if they never wanted us to win. Well! To be very honest almost 90% of the world would never wanted us to win including lots of Pakistani. People were actually betting in favor of Sri Lanka. I think if you are so ashamed of being a Pakistani, then I request you to please leave this country at once.

Sunday, June 21, 2009

DAY 45

Just a few minutes back one of my friends lost a bet from one of my other friend but it was great for the loss of one & the win of the other because in the end, both won.

Had a very sick day that turned into one of the happiest days of life. Thanks to the Pakistani Cricket Team. See I told you that once you never bother, they do something extra & that what happened today. I totally forgot that there is going to be the final today to T20 as I was sick the whole day but when in the evening I went out to eat & to get myself back to normal life, I found myself in a place where I can see a big screen in front of the dinning tables & a huge huge crowd enjoying & shouting on every moment that was in favour of Pakistan. This was one good crowd to be a part of. I usually avoid these types of areas but today I did enjoy.

So nothing more today but only “THANK YOU PAKISTAN CRICKET TEAM FOR GIVING US A SMILE AGAIN & A REASON TO ENJOY” after almost 17 years on a cricket ground.

Friday, June 19, 2009

DAY 43

Had a very busy day yesterday but ended nice, smooth & with happiness. The only reason I had to skip yesterday’s blog was the semi-final between Pakistan & South Africa in T20 World Cup. What a match was that, really interesting & breathtaking till the last over. Won’t say till the last ball as it was bit difficult for the SA to win in last three balls but as you know that when the “THE UNPREDICTABLES” are on the ground, anything can happen but this time something happened good for us. See, when we don’t bother, they do something extra so please please please do not bother about the finals as well.

Before started watching the match, I did finish 3 projects (7-8 documents/project) and which was a relief. Sometimes when you even try things to be smooth, they don’t. My boss (On this project) is still not pleased with me even when I am trying. Now without any experience or training, he expects my level of work at his level which is not possible as I never did this before but boss is a boss & you always have to respect his every decision. Throughout my working experience I have learnt this that boss is always right no matter even if he is wrong, you would have to say “YES SIR”. Hope I do built a good understanding relation with my boss.

My close friend is now a bit angry with me. Yesterday he did not come to the office and called me to get some prices for him. I actually had to quote 3 customers and I was even trying to reach the supplier for him to get the prices but I could not. So eventually he thought that I am not doing it. In the end when I was unable to get in touch with the supplier, I emailed her copying him in as well so he can understand that I did try. Guess what? According to him, I’m useless because one of my lady colleague is always there to tell him how useful she is & not me.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

DAY 41

Yesterday I wrote regarding a news that some Pakistani people arrested in Saudi Arabia for exporting drugs. According to the news that they only have five days & then they will face death. Today I got the news that a report will be submitted on Saturday in the parliament & the government will try their best to help them out. Saturday is the fifth day as per the news and it will take 5 days for our government officials to submit a report. GOD HELP THOSE PEOPLE because this government won’t. How lazy & stupid you could be? Well! There is an example.

Had a very busy day & I still have to submit 3 reports (Each including 6-7 documents). This might take me to bed at 3 in the night.

My colleagues have almost stopped writing their blogs. This let us know how busy people are. Sometimes it really gets hard to write on daily basis but I really want to continue this activity.

Pakistan is going to face South Africa tomorrow in the semi-finals. Most of my friends wanted West Indies instead but what the hell is that going to make a difference as today or tomorrow if they win, they would have to face someone strong on the other end. To be very honest all the rest of the teams now in the semi-finals are looking much stronger than us. So as I always say, please don’t bother so they could do something extra.

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

DAY 40

Not a good day on work. I would rather say a very slow day. The work ratio is decreasing due to the credit crunch all over the world & I really hope this will end soon as this is now affecting my work. So I hope I will have a good day tomorrow as not every day is a bad one.

Watched a sad news on one of a leading news channels in Pakistan. A family was sent on Umrah (Saudi Arabia) by a travel agency & clothes (Ahraam) plus slippers were provided to them for free but when that poor family reached the airport, they were arrested as the authority found drugs in their slippers. Now they are all going to death penalty and only 5 more days left in their lives. The Pakistani embassy in Saudi Arabia is unaware of this incident. According to the family, the travel agent provided us those things and asked to give it to someone in Saudi Arabia once they are done. Well! They are done but in a very sad manner. Don’t really know whose fault is it. Was it the agent or was it themselves. By the way the agent is missing so it must be him. That is the only reason that I say, don’t take anything from anyone for any good or bad reason while you are travelling as you cannot say what’s in it.

At last Pakistan is in the semi-finals with Sri Lanka. Still not confirmed who is going to play against whom. It will be decided today but in the night while I would be sleeping. Let’s hope that Pakistan makes to the final. Oh! Infect don’t because when we want them to do something, they don’t & when we just let them play & don’t bother, they do something extra. So, don’t bother please.

Monday, June 15, 2009

DAY 39

They call Pakistani Cricket team “Unpredictable” which is so true as when you think they will win, they loose & when you think they loose, they really loose & when you think it is now useless to even think about it, that day they do something extra ordinary. At last we did win our last two matches & still not sure weather we are in the semis or not. Let’s hope that we stop thinking about this as only when we do, they do something extra. By the way, another very strong team after Australia is knocked out of the tournament. Yes! I am talking about India.

Had a very busy weekend. Kept sitting in front of my system as had to merge 2 excel sheets. Still the work is under process as I have to make sure that no data is lost while merging the file which is really a pain in the neck. That is the only reason I had to miss a day from my blog.

The weather is also unpredictable here as one day it’s hot & the other day it rains. Even when it rains, know one can tell how long it will. Even if the clouds shout loud, it doesn’t mean that it will rain long enough. Personally I love raining only when I am at home so I can enjoy. Otherwise I hate raining while I am travelling especially while riding a bike.

Well! I really have to finish two pending projects and it might take 2-3 hours of my time only after then I will sleep. So, me out of here for the time being…

Saturday, June 13, 2009

DAY 37

A busy day for me once again. Got up in the morning & till now I’m in front of the monitor. Had to update a few files, merge two excel sheets & still the work is pending. This means would have a busy Sunday as well.

Pakistan lost their match against Sri Lanka on Friday which was a pathetic performance by Pakistan side but today’s match is still in the favour of us. Let’s see how pathetic we go in batting today. Can expect anything from our side.

Today while I was passing through our market, I saw lots of people sitting in two to three rows & and gossiping on different topics. You know why they were lots of them & sitting in rows? They came on a funeral. Now what should we talk about on these kind of occasions? The person that passed away was a really good guy even if you don’t know him. To be very honest 99% of them were there just waiting for food to be served and nothing else. They don’t even care if someone has passed away or not. They just keep on talking on irrelevant topics so they can just pass their time while waiting for food. Ah! What a pity. We people are now left with no more emotions.

Friday, June 12, 2009

DAY 36

Was really busy & that is the only reason I had to skip a day from my blog. Had to finish & submit few reports for the project I’m working on. You need complete concentration so there is less chance of error especially in spelling & grammar.

Oh! Regarding spell & grammar, I passed from a street two days back & saw this strange wording on the wall that I had to go back to take a picture. Check this out.

For those readers whom are unable to understand Urdu, let me translate it. It says “Son of Katy, to throw garbage here is forbidden. One who is caught, his face will be coloured black”.

Now actually what he wanted to write was “Son of a bitch” but he ended up writing “Son of Katy”. See what happens when you don’t check your spelling errors. He did not even bother to read once he completed his mission. Must have felt so proud.

Well! I don’t know about him but Katy’s son would be sad & shameful as he never did anything like that. By the way, sons of other moms are allowed to throw & the ones who are already black in skin colour should not worry regarding the consequences.

Oh! One more thing, when I saw this the first time, there was actually garbage lying just beneath this writing but when I took the picture, it wasn’t there. So actually someone did try to see what happens. Don’t really know what happened to him but yes he did try. Do let me know if you want to try, I send you the address.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009

DAY 34

It’s been almost more than a month now since the operation is being operated. Operation? Yes! An operation in Pakistan against terrorism and due to that countless peoples have been forced to leave normal lives and being pushed into so many miseries but where are those peoples that our emotionally idiot peoples elected them called “The Politician” or the decision makers?

I really try to search for them and guess what! I found a few of them. It was hard but I succeeded. See below and see if you can find them as I did.

It's just a car. Infect a long car also called "Limousine". For your information the rent of this car/hour is around 500 Dollars.

Hey! Looks who's getting out. Looks like a familiar face. Doesn't it?

There they are. “Qamar-uz-Zaman Kaira” & “Nazar Gondal”, our elected politicians and their way of saying thanks to the country for paying their taxes and for going through all those miseries so they can spend 500 Dollar every hour.

So why cry now? Let’s dance and try to hide our grief & mistakes.

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

DAY 33

After a very long time I had a good conversation with my mom as she was and still a bit angry with me on my decision to move to Pakistan all the way from Saudi Arabia and a few other personal reasons. After speaking with her, I really felt a bit relaxed and hope that our relation would be same as old.

The other project I am working on nowadays is getting bit interesting as on every stage I learn something new and I use to thought that I knew computer softwares really well. So this is true that you keep on learning on every step of life.

One of my friends (Oh! I should mention "Close friend" as he would be hurt once again) with whom I come to office was late yesterday. We usually meet on a spot where I pick him up but mostly he is late. So I left him yesterday and after five minutes he called me and asked me “WHERE ARE YOU?” like I was late. So I decided and told him that if he would be late again & again, I would not wait or return to pick him up as I did yesterday. Guess what happened today. No! He was not late again but was there 2-3 minutes before our decided time and he announced in the office that I would make him punctual. By the way, he is my manager in case if you don’t know. My same friend said to me that I should keep on posting related pictures with my blog as it looks nice. So I would ask him to provide his photo so I can post it here. Hope he would provide.

My ignorance and unawareness regarding my surrounding is increasing day by day. Could you believe that I was not aware that the 20-20 cricket world cup has already started being a crazy cricket fan? In which world I am living in nowadays ? Pakistan already lost his first match and have won the second one. Oh! Another shocking news that I just read, Australia is out of the 20-20 world cup in the first round. Could anyone believe this? I sure can’t but this is the truth. If you don't believe it then check this out: http://www.cricinfo.com/wt202009/content/story/408062.html

Monday, June 8, 2009

DAY 32

I was really surprised and disappointed on myself as I was not aware of a suicide bomb attack in Islamabad on Saturday. I did not watch any news updates for the past 72 hours and there was no reason for that. I was even online almost all the day but this is really my ignorance. That is why it is so important to watch the news update frequently.

One of my office colleague told me about the incident which happened near to her place. She is not far from that area but she survived. I know a few people from the office wanted this to be vise versa but devil don’t die at early age.

Once there was a time & still it is continued that when anything goes bad in this world, Pakistanis are blamed first for that but when something goes wrong in Pakistan, as we cannot blame ourselves so we blame it to “Taliban”. Sometimes I really wonder weather they really exist in Pakistan or not.

I do receive emails from different sources saying that these are not “Talibans”. They are either Indian agents or American but this is not an excuse. We are failure (In security) every time these blasts took places. Still the people are being kept in darkness and no one knows who was behind any attack. Every time there is news that few suicide attackers have entered the city and when the incident has taken place, the security officials say that we had this info. So what should we do now? Should we thank you as you knew that something is going to go wrong or should we slap you when you say this in front of TV cameras? I would choose the second option. What would you choose?

Sunday, June 7, 2009

DAY 31

A busy day for me but still as I have decided to write daily, so I would. First felt nice to see a person coming back on blog. Secondly had a pleasure to do shopping after almost 8-9 months. Don’t like doing too much shopping but now I had too. Was running out of clothes & a few personal things. (That is too personal). It always feels good after shopping when you look at a number of bags in your hand but at the same time looking inside your wallet hurts you.

Had a nice weekend after all. I think I am getting addicted to writing & being online. Almost more than half of my day is being spend online. Night is included as well. Trying to finish my website project & praying that it comes out nice in the end because it is hard to satisfy someone’s expectation. Even when I created my own website & a site for Pakistani singer (Aamir Saleem), I kept changing things for almost 4 & a half years and still was not satisfied. Sometimes you want thing to be perfect in places but there is only One who got everything perfectly in place. Ok! Now my cat wants to type as he is not letting me and trying to push the keys with his hands or should I say legs (the front ones).

Saturday, June 6, 2009

DAY 30

Thanks GOD. After making so many prayers, my cat is now well & running all over the house. It is true that there is power in the verses of GOD. This is my cat now normal and recovered from vomiting & sickness. We call him “SUNO”.

The other sweet little cute cat that I have was sad yesterday and was not playing as she knew that her friend is sick. So she kept either sitting around or sleeping which is not her type. She keeps on jumping and running all over the house. At this moment she is sitting on my laps and watching me typing with interest as if she is learning herself. We call her “SWEETY”.

The day was fine for me today. Did not relax much as I usually do on weekends. Was online for most of the day as I had to work on a project. Working on a website for a company. Hope to finish it soon. It is always a great feeling after you are done creating something. Sometimes I think that the way I feel happy after creating a website or any creative thing, GOD would be more than happy after creating us but nowadays he would be sad as we are not performing the way He wanted us to. He created such a beautiful world & we have almost destroyed it. Any part of the world that is left, soon it will be no more beautiful too.

Friday, June 5, 2009

DAY 29

Another Friday and this time my other cat is sick. Since morning I was in so much tension as last time when one of my cats was sick on Friday, she died and when I reached home, her body was lying in the doorstep. This time I really don’t want to go through that same process again. I even went to a vet but his clinic’s timing are only from 09 to 11 today due to Friday and unfortunately I got late as I was not aware of the timings. I just wish that my cat stays well so I can take him to the vet tomorrow.

Got another sad news that someone who made comments on my writing has now removed her blog just because she thought that someone might get jealous of me. This is really sad as I don’t understand from where she got that thought. Also I added her in my follower’s list and even I made a few comments on her blog. Well! If this is the case, I would not comment on her blog again and would even remove her from my follower’s list so she can start writing again. I don’t want anyone to stop an activity that he/she likes just because of me.

A few old friends of mine did accept my invitation of adding them in my friend’s list on Facebook. (Thank you). I never liked Facebook before but when I found around 25-26 of my old friends with whom I had lost contacts, I was really surprise and felt happy at the same time. So I added them in my friend’s list. Hopefully I could start the relation all over again with them.

Thursday, June 4, 2009

DAY 28

It’s really hard to change a decision or views of someone. One of my friends thinks that girls are emotionally fools. I don’t know how many of you out there think the same but I won in the end by changing his thoughts. Personally I feel that girls are more faithful than boys or men and the only reason is that they are emotional. I think this is a positive point in them but certainly not fool. Well! Not everyone. Now I really don’t know so many girls but it’s just an observation just like I had on the hair colors.

Today for the first time a girl asked me that she thinks I don’t hit on girls. Well! Seriously I don’t. I think it’s bad to hit anyone without any reason. Hitting and killing is not my type. Now I really don’t know why she asked me that but it feels nice to know that girls can feel safe beside me as they would know that I will not hit them. NO! I am not a gay. I am perfectly normal man.

An interesting thing happened today. In the morning I saw the picture of my office colleague on Facebook who was planning to dye her hair yesterday. She was having red hair. When she came to the office, she was wearing white shirt but in the picture she was wearing a black one. So I asked her that were she wearing black shirt in the morning. She said yes and the next question was, how did I know? I did not tell her but the curiosity kept on killing her and she kept on asking me. In the end she asked me do you have some kind of powers. Do you have any “JINS”? Wow! I am feeling like a superman who cannot fly. OK! I did tell her in the end.

By the way, hey buddy! You are right. Some girls are fools…

Wednesday, June 3, 2009

DAY 27

A very slow and kind of a lazy day for me. Woke-up early in the morning which I usually don’t but from now on I would have to as I have a project to work on. People say that when early you wake, you feel fresh but seriously I feel so lazy and a bit sleepy.

Received an email from a friend and felt very disappointed and on the same time very angry as once again we Muslims are being hurt. Got the info through the email regarding Apple Mecca Bar which is now under construction. The last message in the email was to forward this email to as many people as we can. I wonder what difference is that going to make. Why cannot we accept that we are no longer strong enough to stop this humiliation against our Religion? You know why? The only reason I see is that there is no unity and we are always fighting against each other. On one end America wants to develop a good relation with Muslim countries and on the other hand they still have not taken any step to stop this construction, change the design or either change the name of the project.

Do you know that Pluto is not a planet? Yes it is not because it is a dog from Disney (Just kidding). Pluto has been ruled out and now it is known as draft planet (http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/profile.cfm?Object=Pluto). It took them almost 79 years to discover that it is not a planet and it took me only 1 minute to confirm after one of my office colleague informed me.

By the way, two ladies at my office yesterday planned to dye their hair yesterday. One did appear in the office with not much difference in hair color but she still says that they are now red and further says that they only look red in the sunlight or in very bright light. I wish that was the case but I just told her that I’m colorblind. The other lady might have ruined her hair as she did not come to the office and I am mentally prepared to be in shock and shout loudly when I see her tomorrow. Now this is what you do when you see a ghost, don’t you?

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

DAY 26

At last I got my internet working at home today. Was waiting to get the username and password yesterday but did not. The only reason was that they entered my number incorrect and therefore I did not receive any SMS. When I asked for the information today, they provided me on phone and when I entered it, guess what? It did not work. So what happened was the one who received the message quickly changed the password. Intelligent guy I would say but I asked them to change the password and then it worked for me. More intelligent guy but this time it’s me. So from today I will try to write my blog on daily basis.

Today I came across a very interesting news. Out of 120 most wanted criminals in the world, 16 are hiding in Australia. Do you know where the rest are? Let me give you the figures as per the news. 60 in US, 20 in Canada & 20 in UK. Remaining 4 cannot be located. The most interesting thing about this news is that there are no actual figures for any most wanted in Pakistan and every time the whole world blames Pakistanis for any terrorist attack. Hence proved that we are not terrorists, we are the victims of terrorism.

DAY 25

Got my new PC at home last Saturday and it was such a great joy that seriously I was not able to sleep properly that night. I kept on changing the sides in the bed. It reminded me of those nights when I was a kid and was not able to sleep due to the happiness and excitement of next morning of Eid day. I felt the same excitement and joy in me on that Saturday night. Now you must be thinking then why no blog on weekends. Well! Still waiting for the Internet connection at home which will be soon there hopefully.

Last evening I was watching the news that the electric company in Pakistan has announced to stop load shedding for a while and the news was not even over when the lights went off. That is what you call a true statement.

Someone from my family wrote an email to me saying that instead of keeping animals as pet, one should adopt a living human being. I do respect the thought but I am still not in a position to take a responsibility of another human being. I really don’t see any harm in keeping cats as a pet as they were the favorite animals of our beloved Prophet and also one of the clean & cute animals. Well! I do accept that being a Muslim one should not keep a dog in the house but was not able to find any information regarding not keeping cats as a pet. If anyone have this information, please do provide me.

By the way, please note that whatever I write here are my personal feelings that might differs from person to person but I do not want to disrespect anyone’s thoughts or feelings especially the ones I respect.
