DAY 83

There was a time in our culture that a girl would always feel shame while telling that she is pregnant but now time has changed. My colleague is going through the process of being a mother & she told everyone with a smile on her face & confidence. Time has really changed… Even a wife used to take time to tell her husband but now even friends & colleagues know the upcoming event.

Another friend of mine, ops! Not mine, friend of my friend, is going through tough times. She fell in love with someone who is nowadays living with some other girl. According to him there is no one to take care of her, so he gave her a place to live. Soon there won’t be anyone to take care of this friend of my friend & again he might give her a place to live. This girl has no guts to tell her family that she really don’t want to get married to this guy. The marriage is scheduled sometime this October.

So the question is why she cannot tell her family? Well according to my friend she can’t take a bold step as we men can. So that means you have to go through all that even if you don’t want to? In a sense, yes. Girls in our culture have to accept the decision of their families. Can you believe this? In this same culture there is a girl that announcing her pregnancy & there is a girl that call’s herself tomboy & can’t do a thing about her life. Wow! What a culture we have. I have only one question to ask. If you cannot do anything then why the hell cry? Just accept it & live with it coz you don’t have guts to take a step. When you had to tell your family that you liked that same guy, where the hell this courage came into you? You can tell them that you like a person but you cannot tell them that you hate a person? Wow… Sure you are a tomboy & yes you deserve a clap.

My ignorance to the person in my office is still in process. She (The story teller) has now started to feel that I am ignoring her but does it make a difference? Well! Hell not to me. I am happy the way I am but a bit disappointed as did not get the opportunity to slap her. She’s a lucky b____.

Oh! Just heard a sound. No not of a slap or a clap. It was the thunder. Thanks GOD the weather has changed. It has been raining only in the night for the past two days which has really dropped the temperature & I hope it continues as the anger inside me has already raised my temperature & I cannot afford more heat.
